Time To End Daylight Savings Time

Every Spring. Every Fall. We change the time. We change time back. This needs to stop. It’s time to move on from messing with daytime and disturbing nighttime sleep cycles.

Every time the clocks are changed, I publish a post like this, trying to beat the drum ever louder and raise a chorus against Daylight Savings Time. It starts in the Spring, ends in the Fall. And I can’t wait for it to end once and for all.

In our day and time, this practice is no longer practical or relevant. Instead, it brings detriment. Do the pros of DST outweigh the cons? I don’t think so. See for yourself at this link.

Every year, more than one state in the US proves you can live without DST. Look at Arizona; they don’t have DST! And do you know what bad things happen because of it? Nothing.

I believe it’s a matter of when, not if. The time will come when Daylight Savings Time finally ends. For good. Let this simple post be another reminder.

What do you think? Comment below, or write to me here! Thanks for reading!

  1. I completely agree, Jason! I hate the change and how it messes up my internal clock. Out here on the west coast, all three states have voted to stop changing the time. I really hope this can become reality.
