Just a quick share of an awesome image from 2001, found on the Web Design Museum. One of the first websites I frequented was Nintendo.com. This landing page is a great example of stylized web design, before the web became minimal and sterilized. The purple colors resemble the Gamecube or Gameboy Advance – so nice. Admittedly, nostalgia colors my view of this picture too, but it’s good nonetheless. The fun factor weighs heavily.
